Write about anything related to Lion? No problem.
I firist heard of this group by watching Headbangers ball back in 87'. When the video "Powerlove" was released I automatically fell in 'love' with this power hit. I tried looking for this LP back then when it was released but the problem that my local music store didn't carry it. "Huh?"I thought,this couldn't be. All I got was a "Sorry" by the store owner. Then I went to Wherehouse Records and guess what? I was told it was only out for a "limited" release,meaning that all Wherehouses retailers did not have it in stock. Sadly disssapointed I was,I couldn't stop to look for "Dangerous Attraction" and practically begged my mother to take me to the Bay Area to look for this LP. But of course,why would she drive to a record store in the metropolitan region of S.F. just to look for one small item. The only good thing about this,was that I had it recorded on VHS. Beside that,I don't know too much about Lion,except that Swan played for Hurricane and that Aldrich has a awesome voice. Lion is one of those big hair bands from the 80's that came and went ,yet left behind a trail of talented music for those who grew up in that decade to enjoy.

Now that both "Dangerous Attraction" and "Trouble In Angel City" are Oop ,will there be a consideration to release a "Lion..Best Of" for release? I think it would be great,though not all tracks from both LP's would be possible since it is a compilation of the sort. What do the rest of you think?

finally i found my favorite bands site (LION) been searching for years as the 80's were quite a blur!!! powerlove--i do need---where can i get ahold of the cd?? please help and happy st. patrick's day to the handsome musicians!!

Lion are awesome. I got into them because of Friday The 13th The Final Chapter. I have Running All Night and Trouble In Angel City. I'm looking all over for the version of Love Is A Lie that was in F13 4 It's different than the album. Anyone know where to find it?

Hey, if you haven't found Powerlove yet, theres a 45 vinyl on ebay. Japanese. I don't know how often this board is checked.

I have the version of "Love is a Lie" from the "Power Love" album. I have the album on the orginal CD.

This version of "Love is a Lie" is the correct version that is heard in the film. The version on the "Trouble in Angel City" album is NOT the correct version used in the film.

If you want this version then e-mail me and i will send you a high quality rip of it directly from the CD.

p.s. The Power Love album is VERY RARE to come by on CD and when it does pop up, it will cost you a pretty penny.

Hey ppl,
As you well know that "Dangerous Attraction" is one of those very rare LP's to find unless u are willin' to pay more on ebay,that you can find at least some of the tracks by going on Limewire---www.limewire.com
This is practically a expanded search for downloading music and videos. I found "Powerlove","Fatal Attraction","Death On Legs", and "Transformers-Theme" by using this dowloading file.
